Acuvue

Acuvue is part of the Johnson & Johnson family of products. Acuvue has been around for 20 years now and they were the first company to develop disposable soft contact lenses, back in 1988. Since then, Acuvue has continued to develop lenses to improve vision and comfort for contact lens wearers.

Some of their newest products include Lacreon, Hydraclear, Hydraclear Plus, Accelerated Stabilization Design (ASD) and Pupil Intelligent Design. Each offers an unique vision performance or enhancer for the wearer.

Acuvue Tru eye is the world’s first daily disposable lens with superior oxygen delivery, highest UV protection with ultra-smooth hydraclear 1 technology. 1 Day Acuvue Moist lenses are a simple, yet easy contact lens that have been specifically made for new wearers of contact lenses and part time users. These lenses stay moist all day and need no cleaning or maintenance.

The Hydraclear and Hydraclear Plus offers 5 different lenses, which are Acuvue Oasys, Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism, Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia, Acuvue Advance and Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism. With this line of lenses, the lenses stay moist and lubricated no matter how long they are worn. The lenses also result in less redness and dry eyes for the wearer, which further improves comfort and ease of use.

Acuvue Oasys for Prebyopia are made for multifocal users that typically would have had to wear glasses but can now switch to contacts and still have the same clarity of vision. Acuvue Oasys for Prebyopia has UV protection and allow the user to see clearly both near and far.

Acuvue is a reasonably priced contact lens. They are premium lenses that is offered at an affordable price. Although they are a leader in contact lens technology, their products are available to all users of contact lenses.
