Technology Unparalled

CooperVision contact lenses came onto the prescription lens scene in the year 1979. Today they have become one of the top four largest contact lens making companies in the world. They are considered to be the holders of the top position in regards to the manufacturing of toric lenses. While CooperVision eye care products are headquartered in Pleasanton, California, they have manufacturing centres throughout the world in places such as Rochester, New York; Adelaide, Australia; and Madrid, Spain.

The CooperVision company is a contact lens maker that is a unit of Cooper Cos. Inc. The parent company is a publicly traded organization that makes diagnostic and surgical products. CooperVision contact lenses vary in type and style but they specialize in soft lenses. The soft lenses they craft are primarily of the disposable type. These types of lenses are manufactured using a plastic mould which is the basis for the injection mould method.

CooperVision eye heath products haven been manufacturing contact lenses for many years now. They offer their eye care practitioner partners and patients a variety of soft contact lenses that are considered among the most advanced lenses possible. This means that they have the drive, ambition, and scientific knowledge to utilize the best manufacturing technology in the world.

Among the multitude of eye care products manufactured by this company there are several popular brand names that are considered far above most offerings from other manufacturers. These contact lenses are derived from trademarked technology such as: the naturally wettable Aquaform, PC Technology, and Balanced Progressive Technology designs. The latter technology is used to craft their multi-focal lenses.

The three primary technology types used by this company are used to craft their dozens of contact lens brands. Some of their more popular brand names are Avaira, Expressions, and Proclear. Their soft contact lenses are manufactured utilizing Hydrophilic polymers. This means that part of the lens design is actually made of water. The amount of water within them varies from thirty-eight to seventy-one percent. This is different from hard contact lenses which do not use water. Hard contact lenses might provide excellent ocular health but they are not as comfortable to individuals when they first begin to wear them.

The product flexibility and overall design of the products they manufacture allow for CooperVision eye care products to stand out among the hordes of other lens crafting companies. They are not among the top companies on the planet for no solid reason. Their technology, expertise, ability to create a flexible production schedule, and marketing capacity make them the success that they are.
