Daniel Swarovski is a renowned company specializing in crystal merchandise. Founded in 1895 by Daniel Swarovski I, the Swarovski family business has steadily grown over the last century. The Swarovski company is known for its crystal jewellery, figurines, accessories and eyewear lines. This is not a product line with a faint financial heart as the typical Daniel Swarovski crystal eyewear piece is quite luxuriant in their decadence.

As a primarily crystal oriented business, Daniel Swarovski has led the way in the crystal industry. In 1892 the founder of the business patented a precision crystal cutting machine that was incredibly accurate and efficient for the time. Over the course of the next few decades the Swarovski’s would craft better crystal cutting machinery, refine jewellery and precision crystal artwork, and begin to manufacture pieces for chandeliers. It would not be until 1989 that they would begin their super exclusive limited edition haute couture line.

The accessories and specialty items of this line are not for the average collector as their rarity and incredible quality make for an expensive but gloriously appealing purchase. Their sunglass range, for instance, is crystal and gem encrusted often with their silver crystal process involved; it is the epitome of luxuriant style and sophistication. The silver crystal manufacture is based off of much earlier work that Daniel Swarovski pioneered. The craftsmen would cover crystal with an extraordinarily thin sheet of metal to take it from a bright shine to a brilliant and breathtaking aesthetic feast for the senses.

Those that buy Daniel Swarovski sunglasses know they are getting the best because that just what Swarovski eyewear was designed to be.
