Puma began in 1924 by Rudolf and Adolf Dassler. They started as a show manufacturer when they open their company, Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory. By 1948, Rudolf Dassler creates the Puma company and by this time their shoes are being used for numerous sports. By the early 1970's Puma begins designing sport clothing for different athletes and teams. Then by 1993 Puma took the leap from sports clothing for athletes, to sports lifestyle clothing for the masses.
Puma now sells clothing for men, woman and children; shoes, accessories and eye wear, both prescription glasses and sunglasses. Their products still hold the PumaVision that the company stands by, making sure they are doing right by the environment and the consumers that purchase their products. They strive to adhere to this credo even when it comes to their designer eye wear and sunglasses.
