Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 Opening Times
Eyediology will be closed from Saturday the 22nd of December 2023 to Wednesday 27th, open on the 28th and then closed through the New Year and open as of Tuesday the 2nd of January 2024.
During this time please contact us via the contact form as we will not be able to answer calls. We will endeavour to answer emails in a timely fashion, however, please be patient.

Eye Emergencies in London
If you require emergency eye care out of our normal opening hours please contact Moorfields Eye Hospital on 0207 2533411. Moorfields Eye Hospital provides specialist emergency eye care e.g. sudden loss of sight, a painful red eye and nasty eye infections. Please note that all serious medical eye conditions can only be treated by medical eye doctors. If you think you have such a problem it is best to go straight to Moorfields eye casualty department.

Our optician’s practice is located in Spitalfields where the City of London meets the fashionable East end Market area. We are very near the Christ Church (often referred to as the St Paul’s Cathedral of the East End of London)

We are located just outside the Congestion Charge zone.
By air
City Airport is the closest airport and about 6 miles away. However, due to our central location we are near all the other London airports shuttle services to Central London.
By bus
Bus number 67 stops on Commercial Street. However, there are a large number of bus routes that operate to and from Liverpool Street and Aldgate areas which are just a few minutes walk away (see map).
