The roles we need filling...

Optometrist

This is permanant postition (exact days/hours to be decided).

The applicant must have as many of the following qualities as humanly possible...

• Must have good clinical integrity.
• Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and listening).
• Be computer literate wiith a good level of competency with MS Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
• Have a pleasant and welcoming demeanour.
• Keen understanding of patient circumstances, needs and special requirements.
• Be a quick study; able to learn new skills and improve upon existing ones.
• GOC registration is a must or registration with College of Optometrists or a European equivalent.
• Have an exemplary CET record and be proactive in keeping up to date through CET.
• Be willing to attend conferences, courses and trade fairs to keep knowledge fresh and up to date.
• Be polite, courteous and professional at all times.
• Be able to work in a flexible manner.
• Be active in working with the team.
• Have passion for the industry and be able to help us move the practice forward.

Dispensing Optician

• Have a up to date knowledge of fashion, frame styles and current eye wear techology.
• Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and listening).
• Be computer literate wiith a good level of competency with MS Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
• Have a pleasant and welcoming demeanour.
• Must be able to optical prescriptions to enable proper lens choices.
• Be able to guide our patients to the right frame choice
• Keen understanding of patient circumstances, needs and special requirements.
• Be a quick study; able to learn new skills and improve upon existing ones.
• Adapt at administrative work.
• ABDO registration is a requirment or registration with a European equivalent.
• Have an exemplary CET record and be proactive in keeping up to date through CET.
• Be willing to attend conferences, courses and trade fairs to keep knowledge fresh and up to date.
• Be polite, courteous and professional at all times.
• Be able to work in a flexible manner.
