These lenses use the advanced lens coating technology that Nikon has to offer: the SeeCoat.
The unique technology employed in the SeeCoat gives lenses the highest scratch resistant properties around; providing increased visual quality and clear vision over an extended period of the lens’ life.
The SeeCoat also has excellent water repellent qualities, allowing high resistance to finger print and dirt accumulation. This makes SeeCoat lenses far easier to clean, also staying cleaner for up to twice as long as conventionally coated lenses.
All stock minus prescritions are now made with DAS technology. The main features of DAS is the double aspheric design which provides expectional optical quality and the ultra thin design which makes them even thinner.
