Each frame undergoes a meticulous manufacturing process, involving up to 200 steps and taking approximately eight weeks to complete. This dedication ensures that every detail is executed with precision, resulting in eyewear that is both durable and aesthetically pleasing.
Materials and Craftsmanship
The brand utilises a variety of premium materials, including surgical stainless steel, titanium, acetate and even buffalo horn. Their acetate frames undergo a polishing process that takes more than ten days, followed by meticulous hand-finishing to ensure exceptional brilliance. Additionally, Lunor’s metal frames are coated with multiple layers of rare metals through electrolysis, enhancing their durability and lustre.
Design Philosophy
Lunor’s designs are characterised by their timeless shapes and minimalist aesthetics. Drawing upon the best practices in eyewear craftsmanship, Lunor utilises traditional hinges for long-lasting durability. The frames feature saddle or keyhole nose designs, sometimes without nose pads, ensuring a comfortable fit. In 2021, Lunor introduced inverted nose pads, attached from beneath the pad, providing perfect ergonomics.
